Originally from Hawkes Bay in the North Island, Ian and his wife moved down to Te Anau a few years ago.

Ian has a passion for the outdoors and comes with a steady calmness in the dynamic environment of Milford Sound and Fiordland. It might be his extensive background as a helicopter rescue winch-man!
