Following departure you will fly over Milford Sound to Tutoko Mountain, the highest peak in Fiordland National Park, a truly mesmerising sight and experience. Here you will land on the glacier and be able to enjoy unparalleled views across Fiordland.

It is important to note that the Milford Sound helicopter tour is very dependant on the weather. The decision to fly is made by our Heli tour partner on the day.
If the flight does not take place, you will remain with the main tour group in your vehicle and be refunded the helicopter portion of your day tour ticket immediately.
Fiordland weather is very changeable, and while it may seem sunny and fine in Milford Sound, the mountain ranges create their own systems of weather & wind that pilots must consider.
The flight needs a minimum of four people to fly. We join with other tours to do our best to make the flight travel and most of the time this occurs.
